The Australian Open is played at Melbourne Park, the epicenter of tennis in the start of season. Melbourne Park is in the center of the city, so getting there It's pretty easy there. And to make it even easier; Australian Open ticket Holders can travel free on certain tram lines.
By tram: On the day you attend the Australian Open, you can travel for free on tram lines 70 and 70a between stops 'Flinders Street West' and "John McCain Arena". The recommended ticket for the Rod Laver Arena is the entrance to the Plaza del Jardín. Use stop '7B - Rod Laver Arena/MCG Gates 1-3' to use this entry.
